Student Services
Food Services
QSI Brindisi has a cafeteria service. Everyday our cook prepares the daily meals with fresh ingredients, with special consideration to students’ specific needs, such as food allergy/intolerance, Halal meat, etc.
Each month parents receive a new menu, from which they can choose a half or a full plate portion for their child and place an order for the whole month or only on specific days.
Lunch fees are charged at the end of the month.
Transportation
Most QSI Brindisi Students reside either in the Brindisi Casale Area or in its City Centre. To those families, QSI offers a transportation service to and from school at an additional cost (per family not per student).
For the students living in the Casale area, there is a bus departing every morning at 8:00 AM from the Ave Maristella Church (at via Duca degli Abruzzi) and arriving at school at around 8:25 AM. Along the way it stops at via Benedetto Brin (by the Soccer Field) and via Nicola Brandi (by the Fire Department).
At the end of the day, it departs from school at 3:40 PM, stopping at via Nicola Brandi, via Benedetto Brin and arrives at the Ave Maristella Church at around 4:00 PM.
Depending on students’ needs the route can be reviewed.
A shuttle service is offered to those students living in the City Centre. The van has 9 seats and it departs from Piazza Cairoli at 8:00 AM and returns with the students at the end of the day at 4:00 PM.
This option is subject to seats availability.
Intensive English
Every QSI student has the opportunity to be successful in their learning, and students are expected to flourish in their classrooms. However, a student whose English proficiency level is below that commonly associated with their age may not be able to flourish in the mainstream classroom. The Intensive English program is designed for these students. The goal of the Intensive English program is to facilitate an accelerated learning environment in which students are able to acquire the English language skills in the four domains of speaking, listening, reading, and writing to be successful in their age-appropriate mainstream classes. Intensive English classes are smaller than mainstream classes to allow teachers to target individual student needs more effectively. The Intensive English program allows students to be successful at school and feel confident as learners.
